Durban Garden of the Year / Branding

The Client
Pam Golding Properties is recognised locally and internationally as Southern Africa’s leading independent real estate group and the country’s most awarded real estate company. The Pam Golding Property group forms part of a strategic alliance with one of the world’s largest property groups, Savills plc, gaining access to its prestigious network of over 600 offices worldwide.

The Brief
It was through a recent association with the Durban Office of Pam Golding Properties that this venture came about. The new franchise manager wanted to begin an annual initiative that would add value to the properties in the Durban area as well as maintain a data base of homes in the area. Furthermore, they wanted to take ownership of the idea that no one else in Durban could capitalise on any brand equity associated with the event; and that over time it would become synonymous with Pam Golding Properties.

So it was that the Pam Golding Properties : Durban Garden of the Year competition was formed.

(This is an ongoing project.)

Pam Golding Properties already had a well established set of brand guidelines that the Durban Garden of the Year (DGotY) had to abide by. As such, all typography and colours used were subject to the umbrella brand.

This was further extended to always having the DGotY logo locked up and used in conjunction with the Pam Golding Properties logo wherever possible.
